This sounds awesome!! I can't wait to try it. I am constantly trying to think up new and inventive ways to get my kids to get after it each morning.

We did your Positive Routines workshop. Here's what happened one night the following week: After telling my 3 year old son good-night and turning off the lights, I noticed that there was a light on in his room. When I went in he told me "I need to choose my clothes the night before." On his To Do Sign, we had put a photo of getting his clothes ready the day before so that we would not be rushed to go out in the morning. It worked!

Our kids loved the Positive Routines workshop. The children put up their signs in their room. The other day our daughter invited a friend over. When she saw the sign she asked about it. My daughter explained it to her. It was so easy to understand and so attractive that when the friend's mother came to pick her up, the friend explained it to her mom!

I felt obliged to give her our daughter's sign! We made another one :-) ...but the real benefit had been in the discussion we had had together to make it. That's why she understood her jobs for the morning so clearly and could explain it to her friend.
